Buckinghamshire Railway Centre

Wednesday was a "steaming day" at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre - a historic steam locomotive was running, and it pulled passenger cars for a quick ride up and back some out-of-service track.  (The station closed in the 1960s.)  We had fun riding the train a few times.  The kids really liked the first class cabins!

There was also an extensive museum to check out, located in the former engine sheds.  We stayed for most of the morning and afternoon and enjoyed a fun day out!

Steam train and passenger cars

A taste of first class

Watching the mini diesel train (we rode it, too)

Pretty countryside
