Beach Day

Since the temperatures were still pushing 90F today, the kids and I headed to the beach.  It was a two-hour drive each way, but we had a good time and got to cool off in the lovely waters of the English Channel.  We went to Avon Beach, near Bournemouth and, as the sign read, the "Ancient Borough of Christchurch."  We went all out and hired a beach hut (which can be handy both for changing and taking cute photos).  We enjoyed the sand and water for a few hours, had an ice cream, and headed home!
