Trooping the Colour

We took the train into London on Saturday.  The trip was quick, just under an hour.  The main event that day was Trooping the Colour, where the Queen reviews the troops.  There is an elaborate parade down the Mall to Buckingham Palace, and then the Royal Family watches a fly-over of Royal Air Force aircraft.  It was impressive pageantry and had a very patriotic feel.  My new zoom lens came in quite handy for these shots!
