Cheddar Gorge and Caves

22 July 2018, Sunday

We spent Saturday night in a hotel outside of Bath, then drove a little further east for some Sunday touring.  The caves at Cheddar Gorge were neat!  It was nice and cool in there, and we saw many interesting cave features.  The cave is two miles long and was explored in the late 19th century.  The cave was formed by an underground river, the Cheddar Yeo, and it still runs through part of the cave today.

I didn't know there were formations like this in the UK!
