Lots of biking

One of our favourite things about Oxford is how bike-friendly it is.  We have accessibility to so much through a great network of bike paths and bike lanes.

Like last year, we bought used bikes for the kids.  The difference this year is that they can both ride with no training wheels, and that gives them great confidence and speed - and therefore distance!  We took the bus a lot last year, but we've only ridden on it once so far since being in Oxford.

One afternoon, I was lucky to stumble upon a Pony Bike, one of many bike share programs here in Oxford.  With a simple app, I can pick up and drop off a bike anywhere I like, and it's very inexpensive.

So, we've taken many trips around town - to the library, Jericho, pubs; and also to the Natural History Museum and through the Cotswolds (see later posts!).
